Workshop and presentation room in Barcelona its own entrance, day or night
The lobby: a separate space with its own door, for the daytime format that does not fit inside a club room.
What sets it apart
The separate entrance changes everything
A lobby inside an event venue is usually a walkway: somewhere to greet people and little else, because it depends on the large space being open.
Not this one. It has its own entrance, and that turns it into a space you can use on its own terms: a Tuesday-morning training session, a board meeting, a casting, a three-day showroom. Formats that normally do not fit in a nightclub.
And when there is a large event on, it stops being a separate room and becomes the event's infrastructure: accreditation, VIP cloakroom, press room or meeting area while the main room stays set up.
Capacity
Capacity by layout
A workshop with tables and a standing reception hold nowhere near the same number of people. These are the usual lobby layouts.
| Layout | Capacity | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Standing cocktail | Ask us → | Reception, networking, welcome drink |
| Theatre | Ask us → | Presentation, training, keynote |
| Classroom | Ask us → | Workshop with tables, practical session |
| Boardroom | Ask us → | Committee, working session, casting |
| Showroom | Ask us → | Product display, pop-up |
Capacity depends on the exact layout. Tell us your format and we will confirm the precise figure for the aforo-table.
Typical uses
What it gets booked for
- Training and workshops — working session with tables
- Presentations — product, results, project
- Reception and accreditation — front of house for a larger event
- Meeting room — committee, interviews, casting
- Showroom or pop-up — product display
- Networking area — during a congress at Fira
If your event runs alongside a congress, the page for events next to Fira explains how the three spaces combine across a fair week.
Before you book
Worth settling first
- Which layout do you need? Classroom, theatre or cocktail change both capacity and price. Decide before asking for quotes and you will be comparing like with like.
- Do you need exclusivity? With a separate entrance the lobby can be closed off even while the main room has activity.
- Are there catering breaks? A coffee break changes the layout and the hours. Say so from the start.
- How many hours, really? Count build-up and break-down, not just the event. That is where quotes go wrong.
- Might the group grow? If it could, book knowing you can extend into the room or the terrace without changing venue.
Frequently asked questions about the lobby
Can the lobby be hired on its own?
Yes. It has its own entrance, separate from the main room, so it is booked independently without opening the rest of the venue. That is what makes it viable for small daytime formats.
Does it work for a daytime meeting or training session?
That is its most natural use. Being an enclosed space with its own door, it functions as a working room during office hours — something a club room cannot do.
Can it be used while an event runs in the main room?
Yes, and it is one of its strongest cards. It works as an accreditation area, VIP room or parallel meeting space while the main room stays set up for the evening.
Is there a screen or projection?
The space is set up for presentations. Tell us what you need — screen, projector, speech reinforcement — and we include it in the quote using house equipment.
Does it include catering or coffee breaks?
It can. We work with caterers and there is an equipped bar, so a coffee break or working lunch is handled in the same space.
