Why distance decides it
By day four, nobody wants to board a coach
MWC week is exhausting for anyone living it from the inside. Four days of halls, back-to-back meetings and kilometres walked along the aisles. By the time the official programme ends, appetite for boarding a coach and crossing Barcelona is what it is.
That is where fringe events fall apart. You invite 300 people, you arrange transport, and 150 turn up. The cost was paid in full either way.
At 100 metres, that filter does not exist. Guests walk out of the hall and arrive in two minutes. No coaches to hire, no timetables to coordinate, no transport line in the budget and no half the list lost on the way.
For the organiser the difference is not comfort — it is actual attendance against the number invited, which is what ends up in the report.

What gets booked during MWC
Brand after-party
The close of the day, with a DJ and a bar, for clients and team. The most booked format and the one the venue is set up for by default.
Client dinner
Seated in the main room with drinks afterwards on the terrace. A formal half and an informal half without changing venue mid-evening.
Hospitality suite
The lobby, with its own entrance, as a base of operations across the four days: meetings, team downtime and encounters away from the hall.
Product launch
Stage, sound, lighting and streaming already installed, for a launch off the stand and without the noise of the show floor.

What you do not have to solve
An event during MWC week competes for the same suppliers as two hundred other companies: sound, catering, staff, transport. Everything is pricier and scarcer than in any other week of the year.
Here much of that list is already settled because it belongs to the building: sound and lighting installed, equipped bar, cloakroom, air conditioning and free parking in the area. No base production to hire and no parking to find for guests arriving by car.
There is load-in access too, which matters more than it sounds when your build falls in a week when the whole city is moving kit at once.

Yes. The lobby has its own entrance, so it works as a meeting room, hospitality suite or demo area during show hours, with the main room set up for the evening.
Do you work with event agencies?
Yes, both with end clients and as a venue inside an agency production. We fit around whatever you already have planned.
How many people fit?
